Technologies

Vainu collects technologies from company websites and other similar sources. You can use technologies as a filter parameter, and all of them are available with the response. The selection of tracked technologies is extensive and goes from web technologies to systems used by the company or domain.

Technologies are available in two different data fields in the API. Technologies contains only a list of technology names and technology_data includes categories and descriptions.

Types

Following types are available that categorise the technologies.

advertising	Advertising tools and services used on the website.
analytics	Analytic and tracking tools, services and scripts used on the websites.
ats	Applicant tracking systems. Human resource-specific tools and services used for applicant tracking or other HR-specific tasks.
chat	Chat tools used for customer service.
cms	Content management systems. Tools and services used to manage websites, blogs and similar content.
crm	Customer resource management systems recognised.
communication	Communication tools and services used by the company.
general	General technologies that are wide in definition, like a "website".
language	Languages used on the website ("Fi", "En", "Se" etc.)
localisation	Localisation settings and tools used.
mailserver	Mailserver(s) used by the company.
marketing	Marketing tools and services.
other	Other non-categorised technologies and tools.
payment	Payment services and tools used on the website.
programming	Development technologies, languages, tools and libraries used on the website.
reservation	Reservation and booking services and tools used on the website.
server	Server technologies and protocols used.
some	Social media channels found used or linked on the website.
webstore	E-commerce tools, platforms and plugins found on the website. Contains also a generic "Online_Store" technology for pages with online store specific characteristics if a specific tool is not recognised.
