Signal, event, trigger
Signals or triggers are events happening at the company. We have separated this data from more static company data due to its nature. These events are usually the most relevant right when they happen and may trigger actions or workflows for the data user.
The primary sources for these events are various news outlets, job postings, company websites, and other registries.
An example of an event could be a press release about an acquisition of a company. Vainu would collect this information, and our AI would tag the event under Mergers & Acquisitions and recognize the companies associated with the event. Then the event would be served from the API and webhook workflows with additional data like content, link, and title.
Tags
Tags are categories that describe the main content of the event. A single event may have multiple tags. Tags are localized, and the tag language will be set to the language of the Vainu user who created the API key or set up the webhook.

Tag languages are localised for the user who created the API key. This list only covers English tag names.
